is it really that hard?

over the last few weeks, i've been pummeled from all sides with meanness... from people i know, and people i don't. and i don't get it. sure, i've been guilty of meanness in the past. we all have. but then, most of us feel guilty, and if we have the courage, we own it.

but not everyone does.

i know it's naive to expect otherwise, that meanness happens, just like shit.

but still.

come on, people.

Mean people don't suck. They bite. Kisses to you.

I am sorry people have been mean. The web can be pretty cruel when you put yourself out there. And you do put yourself out there. I just wanted to say that I love your flickr photos and writing. I stumbled upon it because I searched for "orange" on flickr, which is my all-time favourite colour. You are very inspiring, and it's because of how you handle hurdles in your life, not because you have it all figured out. Keep photographing and writing.

Well said. Mean people suck. But I'm sure it ALL has to do with Parenting. What our children learn and see now from their parents they will take going forward in every relationship in their lives. Come 'on PARENTS. Forget the extra hours in the office, the shopping and/or the SPA, spend time with your children and Teach them.
